How do you setup A+ Download?

1. Install A+ Download into the cgi-bin of your web site, and create your MySQL table.
2. Use A+ Download Cart Manager to add items to the database, and upload your digital goods.
3. Create PayPal Buttons for each digital file on your web page.
4. Thats it ... Lo and Behold you have a Download Center.

How does the customer download the files?

1. The customer clicks on the PayPal button to purchase the file and is brought to the PayPal Shopping Basket
2. From the PayPal Shopping Basket the customer either continues to shop or proceeds to checkout.
3. Checkout is on the PayPal's web site and the customer can choose to pay by PayPal or by credit card.
4. After payment is made the customer is redirected back to your web site and on the return page are the links to download the purchased digital goods.
5. Also A+ Download can be configured to send an e-mail to the customer with a link to a login page. After the customer logs in the files can be downloaded. A time limit can also be put on this link to the login page.
6. Download links to the files can be protected by the number of attempts the customer accesses the files and/or by a time limit. Also an IP footprint composed of the customer's IP address, computer type and browser can prevent customers sharing the download links.
